Our heroine, Kate Watson, is one of those rare A-list actresses who embodies lovable and wholesome, and stars in those type of "chick flick" romantic comedies that we all know and love. Movies like Sleepless in Seattle or Must Love Dogs.

But then her co-star in this movie she's working on challenges her to do one of her own stunts as a bet for charity -- which involves flying a helicopter. Enter studly helicopter pilot, Zander Pierce, who takes his job Very. Seriously.

The contrast between Kate & Zander was hilarious to work on, as was the cast of secondary characters in this book. Hollywood movers-and-shakers finding themselves as fishes out of water in small-town America was a hoot to play around with.

​If you're new to the series and want to start at the beginning, Book 1, DREAM OF ME, is currently on sale for $2.99. A great intro price to get acquainted with the world of Harmony Falls.

Garden lovers will especially like Book 1, as the heroine, Beatrice Palmer, has ditched the city life to follow her "dream" of taking over her grandparents' sleepy, down-home farm. So if you are a farmer's market devotee like us or are growing your own vegetable garden this summer (like Jaz), here's your chance to fantasize about having your own whole 300-acre farm -- without having to do any of the work!!! *g* Personally, I always yearned to own a farm, except I'm lacking one vital ingredient: a green thumb. :/ I even killed a Pothos once, people. So I'm just a wannabe grower, but boy, the research for this book left me in awe of farmers, which, btw, independent women in farming is like a big kinda trendy thing right now! So it's also very timely.

In wrapping up here so you can get onto the book, I just wanted to mention in all sincerity that if you have any friends who need some cheering up and like modern-day romances, send them over to this series. These are really happy books that, to me, just make you feel good.

This is largely thanks to my wiseacre sister, who is one of the funniest people I know. Whenever I get together with my sisters, it's always a nonstop laugh-fest (though this was not the case so much when we were teens, believe me! LOL).  We just keep cracking each other up. And when my cousins get involved--! Forget it, don't even get me started. Before I know it, my face starts hurting from all the grinning and smiling.

Anyway -- as a result -- I think you feel a lot of positive energy in these books. (Whereas my Regencies are darker and more intense/dramatic. Hey, I'm a Scorpio, it's gotta go somewhere. *g*) Jaz has always been the really funny one of the family, though. Thus, when she sent me her completed manuscript ready for me to do my draft, the one-liners throughout the book once again had me LOL'ing all along the way, in between the more poignant moments, which, OMG, seriously, at one particular moment in the plot -- WHICH I'M NOT GONNA TELL YOU -- she made me cry like a blubbering idiot. But that's a good thing when you're a writer. *g*

With all that said, maybe it's no surprise that quite a few readers now have told us they want to move to Harmony Falls! (And until someone builds a time machine to transport me back to Regency London, so do I! haha. Next Moonlight Square historical is on the way, speaking of which. But more on that later.) I'm afraid I've rambled on here enough!
