Welcome to the glittering world of Regency England and the passionate lives and tempestuous loves of the Knight family, a powerful aristocratic clan of five magnificent brothers, their feisty sister, and her bookish best friend. If you like fast-paced tales that sweep you away in the company of fascinating, complex characters, then come along for the ride as, one by one, the strong and chivalrous Knight brothers learn to love...

Robert Knight, Duke of Hawkscliffe, is the stern and proud eldest brother and patriarch of the clan who starts off the series in The Duke (Book 1).

Lord of Fire (Book 2) and Lord of Ice (Book 3) recount the tales of gorgeous identical twins Lucien and Damien Knight, middle brothers of the family. Elegant Lord Lucien is a smooth diplomat who's really a spy for the Crown; courageous Lord Damien is a decorated war hero who's a legend on the battlefield (and in the boudoir)!

Lady of Desire (Book 4) is the story of their sister Lady Jacinda’s struggle to find true love despite the meddling of her over-protective older brothers.

In Devil Takes a Bride (Book 5), bluestocking Lizzie Carlisle, Jacinda’s best friend and lady's companion, who has been like a second sister to the Knight family, finds love with an enigmatic adventurer known as Lord “Devil” Strathmore.

In One Night of Sin the wild youngest brother of the family, fast-living playboy Lord Alec Knight, takes a gamble on love (Book 6).

Finally, look for the return of the black sheep of the Knight family, the rugged and stormy second-born, Lord Jack Knight. His story, His Wicked Kiss, (Book 7) goes on sale on in the UK in September 2006.

First UK reviews on The Duke and Lord of Fire, from the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph: "Two books, written by the same author and dealing with members of the same family, prove to contain hidden treasures this month...."

(From "Romance with dashes of sex" article in the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph on the January releases of The Duke and Lord of Fire)

...Looking from their covers like nothing more than frothy tales to rival Regency romances by Georgette Heyer or Jane Austen, THE DUKE and LORD OF FIRE--both written by Gaelen Foley--are sure to give your maiden aunt something of a shock. These two novels are indeed Regency romances, but each has been given hefty doses of Jackie Collins-like sex scenes. ... Wrapped around the love story in each case is a pretty good adventure, well written and easy to read. And the structure of providing Robert and Lucien with an extended family promises more stories of a simliar nature for the future. First up will be Damien -- Lucien's twin -- a war hero with shell shocke, but there is still the prospect of tales about Jack, alec, and Lady Jacinda to savour. Can't wait."
