On a personal note, I had the joy of becoming an auntie again in January to a new niece, baby Teagan. In May, I hosted a Mother's Day brunch for my mom and the new mom in the family, my youngest sister. Mom returned the hospitality at Thanksgiving, and wow, she hasn't lost her touch even though she doesn't have much occasion to cook for a crowd anymore. Go, Mom! Nearing Christmas, I was excited to visit a historical property, Wright House from 1812, that I didn't even know was tucked away in the next town over from where I live. The farm had been there since the mid 1700's - the current house was from (Regency era!) 1812. It was all decorated for Christmas and they had a holiday event serving food from the Colonial Days.
Well, I am very excited to see what 2013 holds and I hope you are, too. Happily, we foiled the Mayans. *grin* So I hope there will be no more dire prophecies casting their apocalyptic gloom when we all know it's nonsense anyway.
In the meanwhile, just in case you were wondering what comes next with the characters from the Inferno Club, I have a new Queenie 2013 video - I'll just let Her Majesty tell you all about it.
