Booklovers in the Pittsburgh area, join the hometown literary talent this weekend for the Women Read/Women Write Literary Festival, Saturday, Jan. 7, from 12:00 4:00 at the South Hills Village Barnes & Noble.

This is a multi-author, multi-genre event dedicated to "The Books That Women Love." There will be panels on various topics, including our kickoff topic, "Getting Published," as well as general writerly merriment, with giveaways, booksignings, etc. I'll be signing MY RUTHLESS PRINCE. Release Week jollifications continue! I just got some really exciting news! My publisher in Moscow has signed on for the Inferno Club series! I'm not sure when Ast Publishing will release the novels once they're translated into Russian, but I can't wait to see them when they're ready.    
  
 
 
My "Lucky 13th" winner notification emails went out today. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from three lucky ladies out there. No, sorry, you did not win Blond Bond Daniel Craig in a Speedo (but really, where would you put him?) Books are much more practical. If you are a Melissa, a Francine, or a Dennie, you need to check your email (hopefully my message did not land in your spam folder). So write back soon to claim your prize! - Hmm, time for me to start thinking about which books to give away in January...

At long last, my new DIY website is launched! I hope you like it! Thanks for coming to check it out. The last one was fancier and more elaborate, but I got to a point where I really needed to be more hands-on in updating everything myself. So, it was an Epic Journey figuring out how all this website-building stuff works, though Weebly.com makes it very easy. I highly recommend it if you need to make a website! (You can also make a site for free if you are not using your own domain name.)

Now that it's all done, there's a lot to play with on here. Take the poll! Watch the vids. Make sure you're signed up for my e-newsletter so that you are entered into the drawing to win a free autographed book, to take place every "Lucky 13th" of the Month. Check out all the new features--including this blog. And let me know what sorts of content you'd like to see more of. Can't make any promises at this point, but I do aim to please.

In more news, here is the UK version of MY RUTHLESS PRINCE - which is coming out either the same time as the American or the following one, but I need to check that - LOVE the cover!...

In the meanwhile, I'm getting ready for the Christmas season, starting with a baby shower brunch for my youngest sister this weekend! It's her first child and I'm super excited to be becoming an aunt again. We don't know yet if it's a boy or a girl. They decided not to have the doctors tell them.

So, the house is all decorated for Christmas in anticipation of our guests, and I'll be baking up a storm this week--gingerbread, snickerdoodles, and sugar cookies using my Grandma's recipe. Instead of the usual Christmas shaped cutout cookies, I'll be making baby-themed ones...in the shape of a onesie!!! How cute is that?? (I got the cookie cutters at the Wilton section at Michaels, if you find yourself needing something like that for a future Blessed Event.)

My future niece/nephew isn't due until late January, but we wanted to get the ladies together for the shower before the weather gets bad. So I had better run along and keep moving rather than hanging out blogging, lol.  
Before I go, I have one more thing to catch up on! Here's Bingley in his Halloween costume (a little clown suit) waiting for the next bunch of little trick-or-treaters to come along. We have lots of little kids in our neighborhood, and they were soooo excited to see a dog in a clown suit. I have to say he looked pretty adorable...though he wasn't thrilled about being put in a costume, lol. Until next time ~ Gaelen
